You need to put auto maintenance on the list as well.

Tires 

This one automobile component is often forgotten once you inside the car. However, its condition is essential to your car’s safety as well as fuel efficiency, traction, and overall performance. Check the pressure of all tires using digital tires pressure gauge. Also, check the tread depth to see any damage to your tires due to tear and wear or something. Replace if they are indeed worn unevenly or damage. Do not wait until you get into an accident to do it.

It is important to check your battery life span before having a long road trip. Battery life spans usually depend on your driving habits as well as climate. On average, battery life span is around 30 months. Listen to the sounds indicating your battery may be losing some of its power. It can also be shown by taking longer time to start the car or there is a hesitancy on the first start of the day. You can also take your car to the nearest repair shop to get it tested using the right equipment to see its condition. Hence, you can avoid having battery failure while on the road.
